Soulfuel Sessions now runs weekly/bi-weekly in 2 different countries, 2 different stations.

Every second saturday on Basso Radio, Finland. DJ Pinball is taking care of jungle side of thing, while DJ Dice has transforemed to Tes La Rok taking the deep dive into the world of dubstep.

Mondays on Radio 2, Estonia, are taken care by Pinball with long term partner in crime, DJ Drummie.

History

Soulfuel Sessions started off as side-kick radioshow of our jungle record label Mangofunk Records (RIP). Running a recordlabel got us in touch with Groove Attack and a guy working there back then, named Klaus. Klaus invited us to join team Monofunk, where we housted our monthly thing for around 6 months. Around the same time we also met Raul Saaremets, from Estonian Radio 2, who brough us to Radio 2 for several sessions with couple of replacement shows. Before this we ve only had made mixes for few different radioshows. Biggest ones to mention are Dizzy's and Leena Lehtinen's show on Finnish national radio YLE X, formerly known as Radio Mafia.

In the spring of 2004 Raul asked us, if we would be insterested of taking over his second hour on Radio's monday evening. First show on Radio 2 got aired on the last monday of August, same year. It only featured mixed compilation that was our label's last release that never got further from promo level. Few days before we ve had our first session also on Basso Radio. Looking back on it, it was the turning point where we buried the same record label that helped us getting that position.

Since 1.1.2007 Basso radio is permanently on FM, covering the whole Helsinki area with 50km radius. Radiostation quickly managed to get the very center of local underground, featuring the biggest local influences in each genre of music.

First info about the amount of weekly listeners is claimed to be 22 700.
